Grand Prairie Ride #23

Tune up for my southeast US swing starting 8 April. Found this route in the new 2015 Arkansas Motorcycling Guide and although it is flat, I figured it would be a good way to see something new and get a couple hundred miles under my belt. Highlights included seeing a Lufthansa 747 and five Southwest 737s sitting on pallets at Stuttgart Muni?! Stopped at Craig's BBQ in De Valls Bluff for the best BBQ I've had in Arkansas and finished the afternoon with a tour of the 1,000+ year old Toltec Mounds south of Scott. Excellent way to spend a day...... 

Beale Street

Perfect day for a ride to Memphis to soak up some rays, BBQ and great blues on Beale Street.

Little Rock Marathon

Spent a cold and wet Sunday morning with 10,000 of my closest friends at the Little Rock Marathon. I ran the half marathon this year and despite the chilly weather, it was a great time! Great way to get in shape for the upcoming riding season! I really enjoyed meeting people from all over the US and sharing the passion of fitness and running with others. Looking forward to 2016!
